About
MatthewCodes.com is a developer portfolio website created by me, Matthew McMahon, a freelance software developer working out of Toledo, OH, USA.
I've had a passion for Internet technology, from the earliest days of the Web. The first programming book I ever purchased was David Flanagan's JavaScript: The Definitive Guide.

The Pitch
Are you looking for a developer who combines a solid understanding of Web fundamentals like JavaScript, CSS, and HTML with the latest knowledge of powerful libraries like React and Vue, platforms like Node and Docker, and old-school know-how and systems experience? Get in touch!
The Logo
The logo for MatthewCodes.com was inspired by Vim and uses some old-school CRT colors. My intention is to make it more than just a logo — stay tuned!
The Technology
This site is written in Vue 3 and TypeScript, and hosted by Netlify. The design aims to be fully accessible, tap-friendly, and simple to deploy and maintain. Have feedback? Let me know how I'm doing!
I've also worked with React and Svelte on the front-end; and use both Node and Deno on the back-end, as well as SQL and NoSQL databases.
